Train accident in Austria 16 injured: 16 people were injured in the accident that occurred as a result of the collision of two trains in Austria.
Austrian State Railways (ÖBB) said in a statement at noon near the city of Lower Austria, the locomotive used to transport containers out of control and collided with the opposite direction of the passenger train reported.
It was stated that 2 of them were serious, 16 people were injured and the injured were taken to the hospital in the accident.
It was noted that the locomotive could not be controlled for the reason that could not be determined for approximately 10 kilometers.
Due to the accident, the railway was temporarily closed to traffic and the investigation into the accident was initiated.
