Akçaray works does not slow down: Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality conducts Akçaray tramway works simultaneously in many parts of the city.
Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, Akçaray carries out the tram works simultaneously in many parts of the city. Tramway works are carried out in coordination with different teams according to their quality. Within the scope of the ongoing tram works, 15 team is involved in the production of rail assembly, iron works, welding, pavement manufacturing, transformer buildings manufacturing, electricity, water and natural gas.
The tram works of Metropolitan Municipality, which will strengthen the transportation network of the city, continue at full speed. In this context, 750 meters of rail installation was made in 650 meters of Elzem and Hanlı Sokak, where works began first. Production of electricity, natural gas, telecom, rainwater, drinking water and wastewater lines has been completed. The section intersecting with Seymen Street was paved and opened to traffic. Sidewalk and road works are completed. The basic production of 9 pieces of poles are located in the middle of the line on Hanlı Sokak.
Pavement and road works completed
550 meters of rail were installed in 450 meters of Salkım Söğüt and Sarı Mimoza Caddesi. Production of electricity, natural gas, telecom, rainwater, drinking water and wastewater lines has been completed. In the streets, where the pavement and road works are completed, the base construction of 10 catenary poles in the middle of the line has been completed. While the carrier carcass works of the transformer made in the region are finished, the wall plaster works continue.
In Necip Fazıl Avenue, rail mounting was made to 650 meters of a 525-meter rail line. Production of electricity, natural gas, telecom, rainwater, drinking water and wastewater lines has been completed. Yahya Kaptan's return intersection was paved and opened to traffic. Sidewalk and road works have been completed. The production of 6 master column bases located in the middle of the line has also been completed.
Rail assemblies in progress
650 meters of rail was mounted on the 500 meters section between GM M Boulevard Adnan Menderes Boulevard. Production of electricity, rainwater, drinking water and wastewater lines has been completed. While the natural gas was coming to an end on the Telecom lines, the pavement of 600 meters of the 100 meters road was completed. Basic production of 17 catheque poles located in the middle of the line has been made ready. In the 700-meter section of the section between Adnan Menderes Boulevard-Doğu Kışla, 25-meter rail installation was made, while the iron works were carried out for the 300-meter rail installation and the 225-meter section was grobetoned. While the construction of 600 meters road was completed, the production of electricity, rainwater, drinking water and wastewater lines was completed. Natural Gas has come to an end on Telecom lines. 1000 meters of rail were installed in 750 meters of East Kışla-Şehit Rafet Karacan Street. Infrastructure works, pavement and road works in Köse Street and 10 master tower foundation works in the middle of the line were completed. D-100 Highway, 600 meters of rail was mounted on 350 meters of side road, 100 meters of section was grobetoned. The production of electricity, natural gas, telecom, rainwater, drinking water and wastewater lines was made ready. Thursday Market intersection was paved and opened to traffic on Thursday Market-Hafiz Avenue. In the 550-meter section, iron works were done for the installation of 100 meters of rail and the installation of 50 meters of rail, the 100-meter part was grobetoned. While the production of rainwater, drinking water and wastewater lines was completed, the carrier carcass works of the transformer made in the region were completed.
Expropriated buildings were destroyed
Demolition of the buildings expropriated in Şahabettin Bilgisu Street has been completed. Preparations are made for entry to the line excavation while the rainwater, drinking water and wastewater lines come to an end. Between the Central Bank and Sekapark, 1000 meters of rail were mounted in the 150-meter section, and the 100-meter section was grobetoned. While the line excavation was carried out in the 100-meter section, the transformer carrier carcass works were completed. The works of the workshop building continue while working at the warehouse area. 2/3 of the foundation works and 1/3 of the basement column works were completed. While the foundation of the water tank building was laid, the orders of the prefabricated carrier elements were placed and the production started. Carrier carcass works of the transformer are finished, wall plastering works are continuing.
