Vale receives operating license for railway connection within the scope of S11D project

Vale acquired the operating license for the rail link within the scope of the S11D project: Brazilian miner and iron ore producer Vale has obtained the operating license for the extension of the 11 km of the railway connecting the S101D iron ore project to the port terminal.
According to Vale, the operational license of the 10 year was granted to the company by the Brazilian environmental agency Ibama.
The 101 km extension is one of the most important steps to be taken within the scope of the Carajas railway logistics project, which includes the company's S11D iron ore project.
Vale said the iron ore produced in the Carajas mine will be transported to the EFC railway in Parauapebas and will be transferred to the port terminal at Ponta da Madeira.
Vale has announced the completion of the S11D project, which includes many projects ranging from mine construction to expansion of the Ponta da Madeira port terminal.
% 90 of the works at Carajas mine was completed and% 11 of the logistics part of S79D project was completed.
14,3 billion $ of 6,4 billion $ investment in the project in question was used in mining construction and 7,9 billion $ was used in the studies in port and logistic works.
