TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş. General Manager Veysi Kurt received information from KARDEMİR General Manager Uğur Yılmaz, together with the head of the Transport Logistics Department, Mehmet Altınsoy, about the logistics activities for the railway transportation, especially the railway wheel factory in KARDEMİR.

During today's visit, we thoroughly discussed how we can improve this collaboration. We exchanged ideas about meeting the increasing logistics needs of KARDEMİR together with its increasing production capacity. Increasing the share of railway transportation in the sector has been adopted as a state policy and in recent years, our country has made significant investments in the railway transportation sector with very large projects. In this context, our investments and activities continue to increase the volume of cargo carried. These investments will continue increasingly within the framework of 2023 targets. Our industrial organizations such as KARDEMİR are undoubtedly the ones that will benefit most from these investments. ”
