Mayor Kafaoğlu Solved the Transportation Problem of Kuyualan Neighborhood: An underpass was built in Kuyualan District of Altıeylül district of Balıkesir. Altıeylül Mayor Zekai Kafaoğlu talked with the State Railways and expressed the transportation problem of the neighborhood. State Railways 3rd Regional Manager Selim Koçbay resolved the issue in a short time and built an underpass to the neighborhood under the railway.
An underpass was built in Kuyualan Neighborhood of Altıeylül district of Balıkesir. Altıeylül Mayor Zekai Kafaoğlu talked with the State Railways and expressed the transportation problem of the neighborhood. State Railways 3rd Regional Manager Selim Koçbay resolved the issue in a short time and built an underpass to the neighborhood under the railway.
The Mayor of Altıeylül Zekai Kafaoğlu examined the Kuyualan neighborhood. President Kafaoğlu thanked the authorities by examining the sub-parcel connecting the lands of the neighborhood.
Kafaoğlu said, “Our Kuyualan Neighborhood had a serious problem. The line is being renewed. Signalization and electrification tender was held. Therefore, Izmir Ankara train service was canceled. Level crossings are closed as the high-speed train will pass. There was also an open level crossing in this area. Most of the land in Kuyualan District was under the railway, and there was a great problem because our citizens could not pass here. State Railways were negotiated, a tender was opened and a passage was made under the railway. The underpass is completed and put into service. Citizens can go to their lands by passing under the railway with their vehicles. I would like to thank Selim Koçbay, the 3rd Regional Director of State Railways and the staff ”.
