Uludağ, one of Turkey's most important winter tourism centers, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality's investments and with the support of Bursa Cableway has become a center of attraction during the summer months. With the aim of increasing the share of Bursa's tourism cake, Metropolitan Municipality, in turn, realizes the projects Uludağ designed to serve tourism not only in winter but for 12 months. With the renewal of Bursa Teleferik, which is the most important of these projects, local and foreign tourists are now able to reach the Hotels Region with a comfortable journey of 20-25 minutes, while the areas where the cable car stations are located are transformed into attractive living spaces. While the environmental arrangements at the Frog Rock Station in the Hotels Region are being completed, the bungee jumping, trampoline and inflatable playground set up here provide children with pleasant moments, while the show groups are also the center of attention of local and foreign tourists.
Bursa Teleferik A.Ş. İlker Cumbul, the General Manager, also examined the Frog Kaya Station in the Hotels Region, which has turned into a new living space. Metropolitan Mayor Recep Altepe also reminded that the most important investment made in Uludağ is the renewal of the cable car and its extension to the hotels area. Mayor Altepe said, “The arrangement of the stations and the environmental arrangements have been completed. However, Uludağ has become a more important attraction. There was nothing before in the hotels area. Now, the station building, landscaping, amusement park style playgrounds for children have created a new living space. It was an important center for trekking and climbing sports enthusiasts not only during the ski season, but also in the summer. We will continue to create new activity areas as the permits are obtained. ”
Calling those who want to enjoy Uludağ in the last days of summer, Bursa Teleferik A.Ş. General Manager İlker Cumbul said, “All our people are invited to the festivities to be held at our Frog Kaya Station between 6-19 September. Our stage shows will be presented to our citizens free of charge. We are waiting for all our citizens who want to enjoy the cable car and Uludağ in summer. ”
