Karaman Logistics Center Tender to be Held in November 2016: The project of the Logistics Center, which is extremely important for the growth and development of the industry and economy of Karaman, has been completed and ground studies have started.
Providing information about the latest situation in the Logistics Center Project, Karaman Mayor and Organized Industrial Zone Chairman Ertuğrul Çalışkan said; Last week, we transferred an area of ​​400 thousand square meters to TCDD General Directorate with the decision of the OSB board of directors. On the other hand, expropriation procedures have started in the Sudurağı axis of the project. I hope the tender for the construction of the Karaman Logistics Center will be held in November this year.

WHAT ADVANTAGES WILL THE LOGISTICS CENTER PROVIDE?
This center will provide investors and industrialists with significant cost advantages in raw material supply and marketing. The loads that will be collected by cargo and brought to the Logistics Center will be checked at the entrance of the facility and materials that are not suitable for transportation will be separated in this area. Later, the loads will be packaged according to their specifications, and the cargoes will be shipped with barcodes and legal customs procedures of which are completed by containers. With the transition to fast freight transportation, these loads will be delivered to ports in a less costly, safer and faster way.
