Initiated by the State Railways of the Republic of Turkey Ankara - Istanbul High Speed ​​Train (YHT) project continues with full speed.
The details of this project, which is of great importance for the Aegean Region, have started to emerge day by day.
When the construction is completed 14 hours, 9 hours by car, the time between Ankara and Izmir 3 hours 50 minutes will reduce the project, Manisa, Uşak and Afyonkarahisar on the route to connect to Ankara to form a very important railway corridor on the west-east axis.
According to the latest information obtained from Polatlı YHT, Afyonkarahisar, Banaz, Eşme, Salihli, Manisa after the route will end in Menemen.
According to the project, YHT, which will not enter İzmir center, will use Menemen as the last stop and will carry its passengers to the center with İzmir Suburban System (İZBAN).
Ankara - İzmir YHT's project between Manisa and Menemen, where the works continue at full speed, also became clear. Accordingly, the 35-kilometer existing single line between Manisa and Menemen will be increased to 4 lines and transportation will be provided from these lines. Construction work has not started in the project, which was added to the investment budget in 2012.
