Iran opens rail transport to Nakhichevan

Iran opens railroad transportation to Nakhchivan: It is announced that rail transport from Iran to Nakhchivan will begin in autumn
Iran's Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohsen Pakayin announced that the railway between Mashhad and the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan will come into operation in autumn.
Iranian Ambassador noted that the opening of the railway line would promote tourism travel between the two countries. Explaining that train tickets will be sold in Iran and Azerbaijan, Pakayin did not provide information about ticket prices.
Pakayin also gave information about the new flights between Mashhad-Baku, Baku and Shiraz. He expressed hope that these flights would be opened until the end of the coming autumn.
