27 August 1914 The Sumike-Istabolat (57 km) line was opened in the Anatolian Baghdad Railway.
27 August 1922 Great offensive during the attack on the shepherds-Afyon (20 km) line began to be destroyed. Railroads and worked troops were run on 20 hours on non-break days. 7 km repair was done per day.
27 August 1934 Construction of Afyon-Antalya line started with a ceremony on the Independence Day in Afyon.
