Announcement ticket fees will be refunded from TCDD: TCDD General Directorate announced on 15 July that passengers who could not buy train tickets due to the military coup attempt would return their ticket fees or be changed for use between 18 July and 14 August 2016. The statement made by TCDD regarding the issue is as follows:
Due to the extraordinary situation experienced in our country on July 15, 2016, the tickets of passengers who bought tickets for all trains departing from July 15, 2016 to July 21.00, 17 at 2016:24.00 and not using their tickets between 18 July-14 August 2016 (inclusive);
In case TCDD tolls and the tickets are received by TCDD tolls, the passengers who receive tickets from the call center, internet and mobile sales channels send an e-mail to the web address www.http.divd.gov.tr operations will be done.
