According to the information received, the accident occurred at the level crossing located in Yeniköy Mahallesi Kadıoğlu Çiftliği (Doğanlar) district of the Türkoğlu district of Kahramanmaraş. At the level crossing, the passenger train hit the light commercial vehicle with the plate 70 P 46 under the direction of Salman Kebene (6199), who returned from his family visit. Hacı Birbalta (75), who was found in the vehicle, which was scrapped due to the severity of the impact, died at the scene, while the driver and children named Ceren Torun, Çınar Torun, Ayşe Şaşkara (67) and 2 people whose names could not be determined were injured.
Wounded by 112 medical teams in the city to be treated by removing the various hospitals. Ayşe Şaşkara, who was taken to hospital, lost her life despite all the intervention. Ceren Torun and Çınar Torun brothers continued their lives.
An investigation into the accident was initiated.
