Haliç-Unkapanı Highway Tunnel Tube Crossing Project Goes to Tender: Mahmutbey-Bahçeşehir-Esenyurt, Başakşehir-Kayaşehir, Çekmeköy-Sancaktepe-Sultanbeyli, with the Haliç-Unkapanı Highway Tunnel Tube Crossing Project, which will provide traffic between the two sides of the Golden Horn in Istanbul with a tunnel under the sea. and on many routes such as Sarıgazi-Taşdelen-Yenidoğan, tenders for subway construction were initiated.
700 DAY WILL GO
Haliç-Unkapanı Highway Tunnel Tube Crossing Project, which Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Kadir Topbaş called as "my masterpiece", is being implemented. Haliç-Unkapanı Highway Tunnel, which is planned to be completed in 700 days after the site delivery, will be tendered on 11 July.
ONE FOOT OF THE TUNNEL IN KASIMPAŞA AND ONE FOOT IN UNKAPANI
With the project, traffic between the two sides of the Golden Horn will be provided by a tunnel under the sea. One leg of the tunnel will be in Kasımpaşa and the other will be in Unkapanı. The exit points of the tunnel, where the traffic will flow in both directions, will be connected to alternative roads with roundabouts.
With the project, the Unkapanı Bridge, built in 1836, is also planned to be removed.
6 METRO LINE TENDER TO BE MADE
IMM will give priority to the metro in its investments. In Istanbul, where 145 kilometers of rail system has been reached, 76 kilometers of subway construction continues. IMM will hold a tender for 6 metro lines in July and August.
