Concrete works were made for the level crossings on the Samsun Light Rail System route by the Metropolitan Municipality Department of Science Affairs and SASKI teams. The gates have been made more comfortable and safe for the passage of vehicles. The most intense crossings on the route, the work at the Level Crossing in Turkis began on Tuesday. Work in the passageway closed to the vehicle traffic was completed in 3 days because of the good weather. This level was opened to traffic this morning.
Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, Head of Transportation, Planning and Rail Systems Department, Samulaş A.Ş. Board Member Kadir Gürkan said that the project, which is planned to be completed in 1 weekly, is completed in 3 days. Gürkan thanked the officials working in the gate and said that all level crossings on the light rail route were renewed and made more comfortable and safe for the passage of the vehicle.
