The triple clamp for technology investment: The future of the aviation and rail systems sectors was discussed at the round table meeting organized by Eskişehir Chamber of Industry and DÜNYA newspaper.
Eskişehir industry, both in Turkey in the coming period both made significant investment plans in the world of aviation and knowledge possessed by the rail sector, the share of technology and manufacturing capabilities wish to take part. Future targets of the two sectors were hosted by Eskişehir Chamber of Industry (ESO). Hakan Güldağ, Editor-in-Chief of DÜNYA Newspaper, was the moderator of the meeting and the senior executives of the leading companies of these sectors participated in the meeting.
Business representatives stressed that the shift of China from the West of production bases in these sectors creates important opportunities for Turkey. They asked for solutions to problems such as bureaucracy, skilled labor and certification. The business circles demanding that the aviation and rail systems sectors be treated as national projects and the companies that support Eximbank loans should be supported in the field, and the public institutions should increase their purchases and the issue of domesticity should be included in the procurement specifications.
