Sculptor Ekin Erman pointed out that the sculptures have been subjected to various attacks for many years and said, “The mentality attacking this statue does not make a sound of disgrace such as the murder of women and abuse of children, but it attacks the works of art. Meanwhile, it is reported that Spanish artist Amancino Gonzales Andres, who made the sculpture, will come to Izmir in September and complete the final restoration of the statue.
The sculpture produced by the Spanish artist Andres within the scope of the International Sculpture Workshop, 4 was on display at Izmirspor station for years.
