Pink wagon controversy in Argentina

Pink wagon debate in Argentina: In the face of increasing cases of harassment in public transport vehicles in Argentina, the proposal to allocate some wagons only to women in the subway is being discussed.
According to the Clarin newspaper published in Argentina, a bill submitted by parliament member Graciela Ocana to the parliament stipulates that some wagons should be reserved for women only when the subway is crowded.
“Women have the right to feel safe in public transport, just like men,” says Ocana.
'IT SHOULD FINISH THE MEN IF TO EXPLORE WOMEN'
Speaking to the Clarin newspaper, some Argentine women said that the application proposal, known as the 'pink wagon', was 'discriminatory against men'.
Some women state that "disciplining men would be a more logical solution than isolating women."
Meanwhile, Argentine Transport Minister Guillermo Dietrich described Ocana's proposal as "meaningless" and said, "Sexual harassment can be experienced not only in the subway, but in all public transport vehicles."
