There are 3 large tunnels on the highway. Electromechanical works and BSK coating works have been completed in Orhangazi Tunnel, which is 7 thousand 180 meters long. The Selcukgazi Tunnel, which is 2 meters long, is largely over. Finishing operations continue in the Belkahve Tunnel, which is 500 thousand 3 meters long.
The 253 meter-long North Approach Viaduct was also completed. South 380 kilometers long South Approach Viaduct also waterproofing, insulation and asphalt pavement works have been completed. There are 12 units in Gebze-Bursa section, 6 units in Bursa-Balıkesir-Kırkağaç-Manisa and 2 units in Kemalpaşa-İzmir section. The 20 viaduct between Gebze and Bursa is being completed, while the 7 viaduct is underway. Gebze-Orhangazi Bursa-Balıkesir-Kırkağaç-Manisa-Izmir between the small work continues. 13 kilometers between Izmir-Turgutlu-Kemalpaşa road was completed and opened to traffic.
