Accident in the Construction of Marmaray, 1 Dead

Accident in Marmaray Construction, 1 Dead: Worker Fikret Akçay, who was knocked over a concrete block during the railroad work within the scope of the Marmaray project in Kartal, lost his life.
The incident took place during the Marmaray railway work in Atalar Mahallesi Beyaz Köşk at around 17.00:XNUMX. The concrete blocks broken from the adjacent building were destroyed on the worker Fikret Akçay, who laid iron for the construction of the retaining wall on the side of the railway. Akçay, who was buried under concrete weighing hundreds of kilos, died at the scene.
Following the work of the public prosecutor and the Crime Scene Investigation teams, Akçay's body was Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital was taken to the morgue.
