Claiming that Kocaoğlu has realized every project by fighting, imposing and force, Doğan said, "You have turned millions of lira investment into a patch pack." It was unanimously resolved that the citizens of Izmir benefit from public transportation at a 50 percent discount during the Ramadan Feast in the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Assembly.
On the other hand, the officers retired from the Metropolitan Municipality protested the cancellation of the passes on the order of Aziz Kocaoğlu, first in front of the city palace and then in the parliament hall. Retired officers expressed their reactions by removing the banners they said, “This should not be the equivalent of our 25 years of labor”, “I want my pass” and “People-oriented social municipality”.
