Crescent and Alsancak stations opened in İZBAN

Hilal and Alsancak stations of İZBAN opened: Hilal and Alsancak stations belonging to the İzmir Suburban line, which was closed due to the train accident in İzmir the previous day, were put into service again.
In the statement made on the social media account (İZBAN) of İzmir Banliyö Taşımacılığı A.Ş., it was stated that the repair work initiated after the accident of the locomotives of TCDD using the same line was completed.
In the statement, it was noted that Hilal and Alsancak stations, where trains could not enter since Sunday, June 26 at 20.30, have been reopened and the trips have returned to normal.
In the incident that took place on Sunday, the İZBAN train going from Aliağa to Cumaovası direction took passengers from Hilal station, while the locomotive belonging to TCDD using the same line crashed into İZBAN train from behind.
After the accident, in which there were no injuries, the transportation between Halkapınar and Alsancak was provided by bus services.
