Bakırköy Kirazlı Metro Groundbreaking Ceremony Held

The groundbreaking ceremony of Bakırköy Kirazlı Metro took place: The groundbreaking ceremony of Bakırköy Kirazlı metro line, which will reduce the transportation between Bağcılar and Bakırköy to 13.5 minutes, took place today with the participation of Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım.

Bağcılar will be connected to Bakırköy coast with the 2018-kilometer Kirazlı Bakırköy (IDO) metro line, the construction of which will be completed and put into service in June 9. In addition, the line, which is planned as a continuation of the Kirazlı - Başakşehir metro line, will reduce the density between Bağcılar and Bakırköy when it is put into service in June 2018.

The line, which is integrated with Marmaray in Bakırköy Meydan, will be connected to the Yenikapı Bus Terminal Airport line in İncirli.

TIME OF JOURNEY 13.5 DAKİKAYA İNECEK

It will be integrated in Yenikapı-İncirli-Sefaköy metro line in İncirli. With a length of 9 kilometers, the passenger capacity of the line is 70 thousand and the journey time is 13.5 minutes.

9 STATION

The stations on the line; Bakirkoy IDO, Freedom Square, Zuhuratbaba, Incirli, Haznedar, Ilyuva, Yildiztepe, Mollagurani and Kirazli will be in the form. The approximate cost of the Kirazlı-Bakırköy İDO metro line was announced as 26.470.747 TL.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of Bakırköy-Kirazlı Metro, Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım started the groundbreaking process after the speech.

Ceremony; Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Ahmet Arslan, Istanbul Deputy and AK Party Deputy Chairman Hayati Yazıcı and AK Party Istanbul Deputies Harun Karaca, Ekrem Erdem, Mehmet Mus, Serap Yasar, Ravza Kavakci Kan, Sirin Unal and Halis Dalkılıç, Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Kadir Topbaş, Bağcılar Mayor Lokman Çağırıcı, Bahçelievler Mayor Osman Develioğlu, Fatih Mayor Mustafa Demir and many other district mayors, as well as the Chairman of the AK Party Youth Branches Melih Ecertaş and the Chairman of the AK Party Istanbul Provincial Youth Branches Av. Taha Ayhan also attended.
