Tram projects in İzmir lead to the reduction of green areas. Finally, 10 trees in medium-median on Hasan Ali Yücel Boulevard were removed from daylight. Thus, some of the green covers that are already inadequate on the coastal road have been sacrificed for the tram project. No information was given about where the trees that were removed were moved, if they were damaged during transportation and whether they were kept in the place where they were planted.
