Rail System Vehicle Commission Meeting was Held in Samsun: All Rail Systems Operators Association (TÜRSİD) Vehicle Commission VI. 12-13 May 2016 was hosted by Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Samulaş A.Ş. in Samsun.

Istanbul from all the urban rail system operators operating in Turkey, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa, Eskişehir, Konya, Antalya and Kayseri at a meeting attended by representatives from the province while the first day informational meetings were held on the second day of technical and social trip. Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, Directorate of Transportation Planning and Rail Systems and Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Samulaş A.Ş. Member of the Board of Directors Kadir Gürkan, TÜRSİD Secretary General Aysun Durna and I.Dönem TÜRSİD Car Commission Chairman İzzet Ata attended.

Following the opening speeches at the meeting, which started on the first day at 09.00, Samsun promotional film was shown to the representatives of the rail system participating in the meeting. In the information presentations made by enterprises, the innovations and developments in rail systems were mentioned. The companies shared the innovations made in the last six 6 with the representatives of other rail system operators and exchanged ideas on the issues.

NEW PRESIDENT OF TÜRSİD VEHICLE COMMISSION FROM SAMULAŞ A.Ş.
TÜRSİD Secretary General Aysun Durna term of office expired I. TÜRSİD Car Commission President İstanbul Ulaşım A.Ş. from Izzet Ata and the presidential team, thanks for their work, gave awards and plaques on behalf of TÜRSİD Board of Directors. After the election of the president of the Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Samulaş A.Ş. Ziya Kalafat, Mechanical Engineer of Maintenance and Repair Manager, was elected as the President of TURSİD Vehicle Commission. Kalafat will be assisted by Erhan Sezgin, Electrical and Electronics Maintenance Chief (Estram) from Eskişehir Ulaşım A.Ş., and Muhammed Biçimveren, Vehicle Maintenance Engineer from Kayseri Ulaşım A.Ş.

In the ongoing meeting after the election of the Presidency of the Commission, Deray Equipment and Deray Intervention Techniques sub-working group will conduct research on the next 6 monthly process, deray techniques and deray prevention methods related to multi-modal vehicles and they will be presented to the commission and Serkan Salmaz from Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Samulaş A.Ş.

THE NEXT MEETING OF BURSA HOSTS
The next meeting of the TÜRSİD Vehicle Commission was decided to be held at 24-25 November 2016 in Bursa by Burulaş. The first day of the meeting was completed.
