Mersin-Adana High Speed Train project will reduce the journey time to 30 minutes: Tarsus Commodity Exchange President Murat Kaya stated that Mersin-Adana High Speed Train Project is important for reducing the journey time between two cities to 30 minutes.
Kaya, in a written statement, the project, both road and rail transport will relax, he said.
Stating that they closely follow the works, Kaya said, “The Mersin-Adana High Speed Train project will increase the freight and passenger transportation by adding third and fourth lines to the existing railway line between Mersin and Adana, thereby reducing the traffic load. The study is also important in that pedestrians traveling between the two cities will reduce their travel time from 70 minutes to less than 45 minutes. ”
Kaya also emphasized the importance of the project in terms of railway transportation.
