Köse Street, which was closed within the scope of İzmit tram project, opens to traffic: the tramway project between the İzmit Bus Station and Seka Park, built by the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, and the infrastructure works on the route that the tram will pass, continue at full speed.

Within the scope of the tram project of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, the excavation works started in the excavations carried out in the Martyr Rafet Karacan Boulevard for approximately 2 months and the infrastructure works continued in Köse Street along with the boulevard. As a result of the asphalt spill, most of the traffic opened to Köse Street 15 in the day will be fully opened to traffic.

WORKS CONTINUE WITHOUT SPEED
The rail assembly of the tram project, which started from Yahya Kaptan District Hanlı Street, continued in Salkım Söğüt, Sarı Mimoza, Necip Fazıl and Şehit Rafet Karacan Streets, while the infrastructure and asphalt works at the Mehmet Ali Paşa Quarter and Köse Street were completed. After the asphalt works completed in Köse Street, paving works started yesterday. After the completion of the ongoing infrastructure works at the corner connecting Köse Street to Mehmet Ali Paşa Quarter, the street is expected to be opened to traffic during 15 days. It is expected that the works will be completed in 1 week in the closed part of the road connecting the center road to Üçyol.
