Seaplane flights in Bursa have not been made for two months

Seaplane flights in Bursa have not been held for two months: The seaplane flights organized by the Metropolitan Municipality from Gemlik and Bandırma to the Golden Horn in Bursa have not been carried out for two months. While Burulaş officials cited technical reasons as the reason for the cancellation of the flights, it was claimed that the seaplane flights were suspended for this reason.

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Recep Altepe stated that the seaplane was established in order to create an air corridor between Istanbul and Bursa, the capital of the economy, and said that the number of passengers is increasing day by day, and it is pleasing for the people to claim their own project.

However, the final point in the seaplane project revealed that the situation was not at all pleasant.

The seaplane flights organized by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality from Gemlik and Bandırma to the Golden Horn have not been carried out for two months.

While Burulaş officials did not give details to the citizens who wanted to buy tickets to cancel the flights and said "due to technical reasons", it was claimed that seaplane flights were damaged and therefore the flights were suspended.

It was claimed that the company that carried out the services of the seaplane was not paid for hundreds of thousands of pounds, and that the company in question attracted its teams from the flight.

It was also claimed that the Bandırma Port Authority gave Burulaş time until the end of May to dismantle the pier used in seaplane flights and canceled the operating permit.

On the other hand, the disappointment of the seaplane flights, which Bursa Metropolitan Municipality organized big advertising campaigns, caused a strong reaction from Bursa citizens on social media.

In recent months, a new plane was added to the fleet for seaplane flights.

What will happen next to seaplanes is a matter of curiosity ...
