Adana Metro System 2. Financing Problem in the Stage Construction Project: Adana Light Rail System (2. Stage) Project Financing problem is expected to be solved
It is expected that the financing problem will be resolved in order to be awarded the Adana Light Metro System 2nd Stage Construction Project construction tender, which will be realized by Adana Metropolitan Municipality. At this stage, the officials we spoke with stated that they were discussing with the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communication (UDHB) on financing. Officials who stated that the tender was held by UDHB. They noted that the issue is expected to become clear in the coming months. Adana Metropolitan Municipality Light Metro System 2nd Stage construction is planned to be completed in 3.5 years. The route, which will be 10.5 kilometers, will be reached in 7.5 minutes and 7 stations will be built. These stations are Tahsilli, TOKİ Hospital, PTT Houses, TOKİ residences. Teknokent Yurtlar was named as Balcalı and Stadium. If the subway line, which will have a carrying capacity of 7 passengers per hour, is completed, passengers who take the metro from the first stop in Seyhan will reach the last stop in Yüreğir in 540 minutes.
