China introduced a bus with a capacity of 1200 passengers at the same time, presented as a solution to the traffic and environmental problem. China shared with the public an impressive futuristic 'uber bus' design that can carry 1200 passengers. The designed vehicle hopes to solve the country's legendary traffic problem by traveling on top of other vehicles.
The Transit Raised Bus (TEB) is described as a subway system designed primarily to wander on cars and maximize road space usage.
The vehicle was presented to the public at the Beijing International High-Tech Fair. Bai Zhiming, senior project engineer of the design, stated that 1200 passengers can be transported with TEB at the same time.
Chinese designers claim that the vehicle is both environmentally friendly and cost-effective. The vehicle will work with electricity converted from solar panels.
