Within the scope of the tender, project and engineering services tender held last year as the first step in the 3-storey Grand Istanbul Tunnel Project by the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, the General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments, 6 companies were invited to receive financial offers. The companies will submit their financial offers for the tender in question on 3 May.
The project cost is determined as 35 million pounds and 7 million 500 thousand pounds allocated for this year, the study, project and engineering services, land and sea deep drilling work done, ground data to be determined. Following the tender process, 1 is planned to complete engineering projects within the year.
In the 3-Storey Grand Istanbul Tunnel, which will pass under the Bosphorus, there will be both road and rail in one tube. Two lane roads will be constructed for tunnel, midway, arrival and departure, railway and upper and lower vehicle passages. passing through the high-capacity and high-speed metro system extending to Söğütlüçeşme on the Anatolian Side, the second leg, starting from Hasdal Junction on the TEM Highway axis on the European Side and passing through the Bosphorus, connecting to the Çamlık Junction on the Anatolian Side.
