The demolition of Türk Telekom old building, which is an important pillar of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality's tram project, started this morning. Bayram Temizel İnşaat firm undertook the demolition process. Within the framework of the demolition, Kemal Pasha Neighborhood, Gümrükçüler Avenue, opposite the Central Bank, was closed to traffic safely, while the traffic in the city was closed to traffic only during the working period from Cumhuriyet Caddesi to the North Side Road and D-100 after entering the city center from the North side road. Metropolitan Municipality Traffic Police Director Turhan Özcan and Metropolitan Municipality Specialized Police Director Eyüp Deveci were present during the demolition works.
