The case of the Halkapınar Underground New Storage Facilities Project of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Rail System Supplementary Vehicles was launched by the Image Railway - YTY Construction joint venture.
The lawsuit filed by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Suburban and Rail System Investments Department for the KIK decision of the Image Railway - YTY Construction joint venture for the tender for the construction of the Halkapmar Underground New Storage Facilities for the İzmir Light Rail System Additional Vehicles for 2015/78837 KIK.
According to the outcome of the case, the Court; It decided to cancel the part of KİK's decision dated 02.12.2015 and numbered 2015 / UY.III-3257 related to the second claim and to examine the merits of the applicant's second claim in line with the reasons stated in the aforementioned Court decision. On 24 December 2015, a contract was signed with the joint venture of KMB Metro İnşaat - Yapı Sts İnşaat, which won the tender, over 92.722.436 TL. 11 companies had submitted bids for the tender.
The tender included the construction of a two-storey underground maintenance and storage facility for the storage of train sets 16.000 m2.
