EXPO rail system line was built in record time: Expo 2016 Antalya Agency's 14. The Ordinary Council Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Muammer Türker, Governor of Antalya and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of EXPO 2016 Antalya.
Stating that apart from the activities and investments made in the EXPO 2016 field, the flood protection system made in this region will also contribute to Aksu's agriculture and trade, Governor Türker said, “Road connections and bridge junctions are being built. Investments prioritized for EXPO's sake, and there is also a rail system. The 19-kilometer rail system digging is completed 5 months after the dig, which will be a record. We are waiting here for our Minister of Transport to see the trial of the first stage next Saturday. Before EXPO goes into operation, I hope the rail system will be operational, tested and put into service of our people. This is one of the contributions EXPO makes to this city and tourism, because reaching the airport of a city, such as a convention center, by passing through settlements means that the city will in a sense step up.
