Edirne-Istanbul High Speed Train Studies: AK Party Edirne Provincial President İlyas Akmeşe said, "High speed train will allow people working and doing business in Istanbul to settle in Edirne."
Akmeşe, answered the questions of the journalists under the provincial provincial chairmanship.
Stating that the tender for high-speed train work can be held in June, Akmeşe said, “High-speed train will not only provide transportation services but this will add value to Edirne. Transportation from Edirne to Istanbul will be reduced to 45 minutes, almost 1 hour. High speed train will allow people working and doing business in Istanbul to settle in Edirne. Travels to and from Edirne will be easier. ” said.
Akmeşe emphasized that Edirne tourism will also come alive with high-speed train, and they care about the high-speed train project as the AK Party. He said that efforts are underway for Edirne to reach the high-speed train.
"Is there any development regarding the appointment of a governor to Edirne?" Akmeşe said, “According to the last information I received, governors' decree will be issued. Prepared, I know you are currently in the signing phase. We will see our dear governor in Edirne as soon as possible ”.
