Refugees Shut Down the Railroad

Refugees closed the railway again: the refugees evacuating the train tracks in the Greek region of Idomeni, Greece, restrained the railway several hours later and set up tents on it.

Police forces intervened yesterday morning to open the railway, where 30 has been under occupation for days and asked the refugees to evacuate the train tracks.

According to the statement made by the police refugees without incident and without any tension on the rail was recorded. After a few hours, however, it was seen that refugees set up tents on the train tracks again.

The railway must be safely unloaded and necessary checks must be carried out in order to restart the train.
