22 April 1924 It was decided to buy the Anatolian line with the law numbered 506 of the Turkish Grand National Assembly. With this law, which is considered the beginning of national railway policy, both the construction of new lines and the purchase of the lines of companies were accepted. The lines were purchased at 1928 and the non-constructive parts of the Baghdad Railway were completed at 1940.

On the same date, the Law No. 507 was issued for the repayment of the Muktazi allocation for the repair and rehabilitation of the Anatolian Railways and the Mebani and Müesse-buy based.
Paris, April 22 1933 8.578.843 Agreement with Turkey's total debt was identified as the Turkish lira. The money of the continuation of Mersin-Tarsus-Adana line was added to this figure and thus the problem of Anatolia and Baghdad Railways was solved.
