Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge is completed: With the participation of President Erdoğan and Prime Minister Davutoğlu, the construction of the 3rd Bridge was completed by placing the last deck. The third bridge of the Bosphorus, which is expected to be a solution to the traffic problem in Istanbul, has come to an end. The last deck of Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge has been placed. At the ceremony attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu and Minister of Transport Binali Yıldırım, the source of the last deck was made.
Transport Minister Binali Yıldırım gave information about the bridge; “The widest bridge in the world. No other bridge has been completed in the world in less than 3 years. On this bridge, the main contractors are Turkish, the subcontractors are foreign. Then the Japanese, the British, the Koreans would do it. Now Turks are doing it, others are helping. Asia-Europe has met for the third time. "

HEALTH OF BENEFITS FROM ERDOĞAN TO BLIND WORKERS
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received a promise of 3 thousand lira bonuses from the investors to be given to the bridge workers before the Ramadan Festival. The workers showed great joy at this news.
Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Minister Binali Yıldırım said on Thursday, “There is a 9-meter gap left. We are closing that gap on Sunday. Then the resources will be made and the deficiencies will be completed. It will be possible to proceed on the bridge by walking and by vehicle ”. Minister Yıldırım also said that the opening of the bridge is planned to be held in August.

The 3rd Bridge will also be the tallest in the world in terms of feet. The rail system on the bridge will carry passengers from Edirne to Izmit. Atatürk Airport, Sabiha Gökçen Airport and the new 3rd Airport will also be connected to each other with the rail system to be integrated with Marmaray and Istanbul Metro. The Northern Marmara Highway and the 3rd Bosphorus Bridge were built with the "Build, operate, transfer" model.
