Students who will take the Transition to Higher Education Exam (YGS) to be held in Istanbul on Sunday, 13 March, will be able to use public transportation free of charge until 11.00:XNUMX.
According to the statement made by IETT, a series of arrangements were made for the YGS to be held on Sunday, March 13, following the decision taken by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Council.
Accordingly, students and teachers who will take the exam will be able to use public transportation free of charge until 11.00:XNUMX. It will be sufficient for students to submit their exam entrance documents and teachers' papers showing that they took part in the exam.
IETT buses, metrobus vehicles, tunnels, nostalgic tram, City Lines ferries, trams, light tram, subway and funicular vehicles will provide free service to students and teachers until the test time.
In order to facilitate the students and teachers who will take the exam, the number of trips was increased to 83 with 88 or 536 additional vehicles.
