The FIATA Diploma Training, organized in collaboration with UTİKAD and Istanbul Technical University, continues with site visits where practical applications are examined on site. The FIATA Diploma Training participants had the opportunity to closely examine the intermodal transportation practices at UN RO-RO Enterprises on Saturday, March 5.
In FIATA Diploma Training, where each mode of transport is processed with separate modules, the responsibilities of the documents, related conventions and logistics companies used in the logistics sector are handled under the supervision of industry managers and academicians.
Participants, who have at least two years of experience in each sector, have the opportunity to develop a culture of doing business in local and international standards with a holistic approach.
At the end of the FIATA Diploma Training, where practically all the details of the logistics sector are handled with practical applications, the participants who have successfully completed the training are eligible to receive their FIATA Diplomas from FIATA, the roof organization of the sector in Switzerland. These diplomas from FIATA are valid in the total 160 country.
The courses of the FIATA Diploma Training, which are held every year between October and June, are held at Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Business Administration. Only those who participate in this vocational training on Saturdays have extensive knowledge of the logistics sector with field visits carried out in addition to classroom training.
Participants in the FIATA Diploma Training, in the past weeks, have been a guest of UICAD member MNG Airlines's Export Warehouse at AHL and Ekol Logistics Sakura Facilities.
At the end of the 5 March Saturday, the participants of the FIATA Diploma Training were another facility of UTİKAD UN RORO located in Pendik. Participants received detailed information about intermodal transport at UN RO-RO Pendik Port and also had the opportunity to examine UN RO-RO Pendik Port closely.
