Municipality Assembly Approval was obtained for the tender announcement of Çekmeköy - Sancaktepe - Sultanbeyli Metro Line and Çekmeköy - Taşdelen Metro Line, which will be realized by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Anatolian Side Rail System Directorate. The cost of the project, which was included in the 2016 Investment Program of the Municipality, was determined as 2.836.69l.0O0 TL. The Üsküdar - Ümraniye - Çekmeköy line will continue and go to Sultanbeyli via Sarıgazi and Sancaktepe. With the extension of the line to Sultanbeyli, the journey time between Üsküdar and Sultanbeyli is aimed to be reduced to 30 minutes. The line will also be integrated into the metrobus line at Marmaray in Üsküdar and Altunizade.
