In the statement, which stated that the Metropolitan Municipality did not damage the trees, “The attention paid to the tree and green continues during the route works of the Akçaray Tramway Project, which will start the rail system era in Kocaeli. The Walk Road, which is among the route alternatives related to the tram line, was abandoned due to the concern that the historical plane trees could be damaged. Within the framework of this sensitivity, the limited number of trees on the current route are taken without damaging their roots and branches and are replanted in more suitable places ”.
