Minister Yıldırım, 3. Bridge Road Bidding Postponed at Companies' Request: Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Binali Yildirim said that the tender for the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge roads was delayed upon the requests of the companies.
Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Minister Binali Yıldırım said that the tender for Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge linked roads was postponed at the request of the companies. Stating that the tender was postponed for 2 months, Yıldırım said, “The reason is that there is an intense demand from the companies. They applied to us because they could not complete the preparatory work. We found these applications on the spot. We gave extra time. ” said.
He also made a statement regarding the postponement of the tender for Kurtköy-Akyazı and Kınalı-Odayeri, one of the connected roads of the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge under the Northern Marmara Motorway Project. Upon a question regarding the postponement of the tender, Minister Yıldırım confirmed that the tender was postponed. Noting that the tender was postponed for 2 months, Yıldırım concluded his words as follows: “The reason for the postponement is that there is an intense demand from the companies. They applied to us because they could not complete the preparatory work. We found these applications on the spot. We gave extra time. Our aim is to enable more participation and to create more competition. Now we will do business, if we are not sensitive to the demands of the interested people, we will not do anything to our business if we do not respond positively. ”
