Spain to Train Thales Comprehensive Maintenance of Fast Train Lines

Spanish High Speed ​​Train Lines will be Comprehensive Maintenance by Thales: A new agreement has been signed between the Spanish Railways authorized company Adif and Thales company. According to the signed agreement, Thales will maintain the signaling and train control equipment of Madrid-Cordoba-Seville, La Sagra-Toledo and Cordoba-Malaga high-speed train lines. The transactions to be carried out within the agreement of 61 million Euros will take 36 months and will be completed in 2019.
The agreement includes procedures such as the regulation of train control centers, prevention of errors and train protection systems. Thales has already been responsible for the 2005 km of Madrid-Seville and La Sagra-Toledo lines since 491. He was also responsible for the 2007 km Cordoba-Malaga line since 133. With the new agreement, Thales' area of ​​responsibility was expanded.
