Signature Response to Transfer Confusion in İZBAN: Citizens reacting to İZBAN's making Menemen and Cumaovası stations as transfer centers by operating on the Aliağa-Torbalı line in İzmir, launched a petition on change.org, which is considered the world's largest petition platform.
6 In February, the Izmir Suburban System (İZBAN) was changed and the Menemen and Cumaovası transfer centers were transformed after the Torbalı line was commissioned. Due to the long waiting times in the transfer centers and the passenger density, the citizens started a signature campaign with the motto 'Let's stop the transfer torture of İZBAN'.
In the campaign launched on the petition platform named Change.org, İZBAN, which has an important place in İzmir's transportation, was asked to be made uninterrupted as before.
People who use İZBAN to go to work and school every day due to weather conditions in the transfer centers have lost their time and lost time in the campaign pointed out that citizens who use İZBAN in remote districts such as Aliağa, Foça and Torbalı could not use 90 minute transfer rights.
