Moscow Metro Grows in Russia: The metro network in the Russian capital Moscow is growing day by day. Finally, on February 15, a new line was opened as a branch of Line 1. The line that will serve between Rumyantsevo and Salaryevo is 1,9 km long. The Moscow Metro opened a new line between the 2,5 km long Troparyevo and Rumyantsevo in January.
Most of the new lines were built underground. As the needs of the city increase considerably, it will be easier to reach the transportation lines.
