Robat Control offers very special solutions to rail transportation sector

Robat Control offers very special solutions to the rail transportation industry: Robat Kontrol offers very special solutions to the rail transportation sector with its high engineering power and innovative vision. Robat Control General Manager Murat Yeşiloğlu; “We are trying to do our best in order to develop the domestic technology. axle counting systems is required both in Turkey and in the expansion of urban rail signaling systems are in working hard to fully put into practice in various provinces of our domestic solution, "he says.
The company, which provides service to the rail transport sector through two channels, namely Robat Kontrol and Setray, is an engineering and R & D company in harmony with its operation at ARI Teknokent in Istanbul Technical University. We talked with the General Manager Murat Yeşiloğlu, who is also an academician, on the firm that offers benefits to the sector with a wide range of services. Yeşiloğlu our interview was stopped on particular Frauscher axle counting systems and the 2016 in need axle counting systems spread in Turkey and both urban rail signaling completely would be in an intensive work to be put into practice in various provinces of our local solution, he said.
You have a two-channel company, Robat Kontrol and Setray. Could you inform us about your structuring?
Robat Kontrol is an Engineering and R & D company founded in April 2011. Setray was established as the sales channel of Robat Kontrol in August 2015. Our basic approach here; All work requiring R & D is first taken as project by Robat Control. Then Setray is sold through. All other application projects that do not require R & D progress through Setray.
Can you tell us about your main projects?
Let me briefly talk about the work we do. First of all, we have a high security scissor control module project. The product we have developed in this project is designed for a 4-phase AC switch motor, which is widely used in railways and in accordance with 3 cable standards. It is used at all stations on the Aydın - Denizli railway line within the scope of the National Railway Signalization Project.
Another of our work is the development and implementation of the railway central traffic control system for the conventional section, which is called the bypass line, on the Istanbul - Ankara High Speed Line. The command of a 60 km area in total, including Sapanca, Arifiye, Doğançay and Ali Fuat Paşa Stations, is carried out from here. All existing field data are read by electronic hardware through our own designed input-output cards, and this information is transferred to the control center by the long distance communication units we have developed. The control center software prevents the interlocking of wrong commands by pre-filtering and thus prevents the locking problem of the existing relay interlocking in the field. This control center we established in Arifiye is an important project that is a reference for us.
The long distance information communication system we developed for the command center we established at Arifiye has also become a separate product. We called the Field Information Transmission System. TLA called and 1990 in Nippon Signal established throughout Turkey by the Japanese firm was named to replace a communication system based on high-tech communication system that Fields Data Transmission System. This is a challenging topic in engineering; you need to transfer point-to-point data over 25 miles through copper cable. 25 mileage in communication systems via copper cable is a very ambitious distance. Due to the frequent malfunctions, it was decided that the TLE system would be renewed in the whole country in 2014. 03.11.2015 as the first stage Çerkezköy - Robat Control company won the tender for the Kapikule line TLE renewal.
I would also like to talk about Frauscher Axle Count Systems. Frauscher, the world leader in axles or axle counters, is an Austrian company. We are striving to use this system of axles, which are appealing to the whole rail transportation sector, including main lines, urban transportation and industrial lines, as well as in the future in our country as in the case of German Railways. Robata Control, Frauscher is the sole representative of Turkey. Some of the references of Frauscher in our country include; We can mention Marmaray, Hasanbey Logistics Center, İzmir Çiğli Warehouse, Bursa Light Rail System.
What are the reasons of Turkey's main lines used in this system?
TCDD lines are often encountered with an apleti (flattened) wheel case. Most of the wheels are affected by the rails. In fact, this situation may even lead to fractures on the rail. The rail circuits used for the detection of the train have the function of detecting the fracture in the rail. However, the main function of this sensor, which has a train detection, does not have the SIL4 safety certificate. Essentially, in practice, the success of these additional functions of rail circuits is a subject of discussion. Axle counting systems do not have a function such as rail breakage detection. In general, the TCDD signal auctions in the ongoing application of the tracing system at the same time the rail fracture is also required to detect the use of the axle counting system in the TCDD lines are cut to a great extent. When we look at the example of the German Railways, we see that the systems that detect the infrastructure problems with signaling systems are kept completely separate from each other. We believe that in the near future TCDD will make this distinction. The rail circuit requires regular maintenance and is affected by the fact that ambient conditions change ballast resistance. However, Frauscher axle counting systems do not require maintenance and are not affected by environmental conditions. These are very important advantages in terms of business.
With our knowledge of the signaling system, our experience in software development on the SIL4 PLC and our expertise in Frauscher axle counting systems have been brought together as a level crossing solution. This system's SIL4 certification is carried out by including obstacle detection feature.
In addition to signaling studies, you also have studies on measurement systems. Could you give us some information about the projects you are conducting?
First of all, I would like to talk about the den Train Measurement System Sistem. Robat Kontrol has implemented this system with TEYDEB support. The load on a freight train may shift due to the dynamic effects occurring during the journey. In order to avoid colliding with art structures, it is necessary to make sure that they remain within the so-called load gauge. For example, a train which is not suitable for the freight gauge will cause an accident when entering the tunnel. The first application of this is TCDD 3, two measuring systems, one for Emiralem Station before Menemen Station and one for Çamlık Station before Selçuk Station. We do it to the Regional Directorate.
Another TEYDEB project, which is still ongoing, is the EY Pantograph Control System Hal. We detect the presence and speed of the moving train in the axle system and put the system into operation. Then, we determine the exact position of the pantograph with the laser system and automatically analyze and report the fractures, cracks and wear problems in the pantograph coal. We intend to make this system ready for sale at the beginning of 2017.
We know you have been dealing with Catenary Measurement System for a long time. Can you explain the point you came from?
Our first job in catenary measurement is in Istanbul Kadıköy - We did it on the Kartal subway line with the support of a German company called DTK. The name of the work is referred to as Catenary - Pantograph Dynamic Measurement, and includes dynamic measurement of catenary height and dislocation, impact measurement between pantograph and catenary, separate current measurement from both pantograph charcoal, catenary voltage measurement, thermal (thermal) measurement, pantograph characteristic examination. This is the most detailed reporting for work done in Turkey. As a result of the satisfaction with the service offered here, Istanbul Ulasim A.Ş. It was decided to do this work before the provisional acceptance of each new line.
We developed the contactless catenary measurement system under the sponsorship of a local company. Then the sponsor company announced that it did not want to continue in this area. We have continued to develop the system further. However, the conditions of the catenary measurement in our country unfortunately is not maturing enough in our country. We are proud to be the first and only domestic company with this important technology. We believe that the importance of this system in the sense of preventive maintenance will increase in the near future. We have also developed our man Catenary and Stroke Measurement Device Kat for catenary measurement. It is used as a calibration device and point portable device for point measurement. It has a certificate of measurement accuracy issued by an internationally accredited company.
We can say Çalış security g for the basic purpose to be reached in all of your studies. What do you say about that? What are the things you've added to all projects and what are you aiming to add?
We can safely say that everything is built on security. Technology development is focused on rail systems. We are trying to do our best for the development of domestic technology. We believe that we have made significant progress in the last five years since we established the company, but this is just the beginning.
What are your expectations for the industry and your own company in 2016?
We have big expectations from this year; axle counting system should be widespread in Turkey and our solutions fully in both domestic urban rail signaling systems are in working hard to put into practice in several provinces. This includes industrial lines. I can still give an example of what we are doing in İskenderun Iron and Steel factory.
