One more stage in Konak tram works completed

Another phase of the Konak tram works has been completed: While the line productions continue within the scope of the Konak Tramway construction works in Izmir, the first phase of the arrangements for the parking lots on the Mustafa Kemal Beach Boulevard has been completed. The section called "P" parking lot across the Göztepe Pier is reopened as of the end of this week. With the new arrangement, the capacity of the parking lot was increased from 273 to 284.
The parking lot P opposite Göztepe Pier, which has been closed for a while due to the Konak Tramway, which is being built by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, is reopening. After the completion of the line production in the region, the new arrangement in the parking lot area was finished. The capacity of the parking lot, which previously served 246 cars, 273 of which were subscribers, was also increased with the new arrangement. In the parking lot, which was converted to a one-way application with a new door, the capacity was increased to 284 by using the existing area more efficiently. It was stated that the renewed "Göztepe P" parking lot will be put into service as of this weekend, and existing subscribers will be informed by the IZELMAN General Directorate with a message.
