Gendarmerie's search and rescue dogs became children's focus

The search and rescue dogs of the Gendarmerie were the focus of interest for children: search and rescue dogs alongside the gendarmerie teams patrolling the security forces at the Erciyes Ski Center in Kayseri due to their semester breaks became the focus of interest for children.

Kayseri Provincial Gendarmerie Command increased the security measures in Erciyes Ski Center, which has been living on mobile for days. Gendarmerie, public order, traffic and Gendarmerie Search and Rescue (JAK) teams took part in order to ensure that people reach the region peacefully and have their holidays.

At the checkpoint at the entrance of the ski resort, both traffic and public order were implemented. Erciyes JAK Teams took part in the ski resort area and patrolled. JAK teams, while taking security measures on the one hand on the other hand did information work to citizens.

Search and rescue dogs alongside the JAK teams were the focus of interest for children. Many children loved touching the dogs. Many of them had taken a souvenir photo with the dogs. The JAK teams also assisted some disabled citizens in the ski resort. JAK teams serve 24 hours in the region.
