İZBAN Torbalı Line will hold a ceremony on Sunday: İZBAN, which started the pre-operation with its passengers on the Torbalı line on February 6, has been announced to be held on Sunday, February 1.
It was reported that the official ceremony of İZBAN, which started the pre-operation on the Torbalı line on 6 February, will be held on Sunday, 1 February.
In the statement made by İZBAN, it was stated that the official opening will be held at Torbalı station, together with the Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Binali Yıldırım, and Izmir Metropolitan Mayor Aziz Kocaoğlu.
Develi, Tekeli, Pancar, Kuşçuburun, Torbalı and Tepeköy stations are located on the 76-kilometer Torbalı line of İZBAN, which started the pre-operation with 30 trips a day. According to the first data, 6 stations started to be used by 5 passengers a day. The new line, which connects the two industrial zones Aliağa and Torbalı and connects İZBAN to the extreme points in the south of İzmir, is expected to reach 30 thousand passengers a day.
