Future skiers will catch up from Denizli

Future skiers will be trained from Denizli: 650 students with limited opportunities were introduced to ski sports in the project 'Blue to White, Denizli Bozdağ' developed in Denizli as part of the development program of the South Aegean Development Agency's alternative tourism infrastructure.

The 'Blue to White Denizli Bozdağ' project, which was carried out under the auspices of the Denizli Governorship, under the coordination of the Tavas District Governorate, with the partnership of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, Tavas Municipality and the Provincial Directorate of Youth Services and Sports, started in the Bozdağ Ski Center.

The project is funded by the South Aegean Development Agency (GEKA), which is funded by the Alternative Tourism Infrastructure Development Program. The applications of first, middle and high school students are determined by Tavas District Governorship. In addition, 86 ski suit, which is required in order to make skiing, was procured. Students will be taken from the address and moved to Denizli Ski Center free of charge was expressed. All of these services for children will be free. With the project, students will start ski training and continue in groups.

Tavas District Governor Osman Varol stated that the project is important for making young people love the ski sport and training professional skiers in the future. We will divide our 650 students into groups and take them to the ski center by taking them from their homes in three days of training. Here, ski training will be given by professional trainers. He said, "While they are living in their childhood, they will actually ski, and in the future, athletes who will represent our country in the ski branch will be trained in international competitions."
